An Update from Margie, March 2016
This has been such a busy week. God has been at work and I am excited about the changes.
1. In meetings this week it was determined to dismantle the soccer cage and make it a basketball court. Construction will begin soon. We are thankful for a donor for the pole and basket. The apartment complex will handle installation .2. We have a new volunteer, Zach, who will help Cody on Saturday at with men's ESL class. Pray for him.3. J. was baptized last night. Only mom and baby brother were family that came but there were lots of youth there to cheer him on. It was cold in that fountain! Afterwards he told me "Mom [those to whom Margie ministers often call her 'Mom' or 'Margie Mom'] I feel so clean. It is like I just came from my mom's womb". Pray for him.4. Two new volunteers that you may not know came on Thursday. Melanie works with children at her church and teaches dance and music. Maybe an Apartment Christ Choir is in the future? Just kidding5. Susan started art classes today. The small children loved the water colors and are good at abstract art. :-). Susan's husband is in Germany working with Syrian refugees. Pray he returns home safely at the end of this month. Susan had two adult students and one of the Afghan ladies was so proud of her apple.6. Another couple may come to help Naomi and Michael on their Saturday as they seek the Lord on how to get plugged in.
God is answering prayers for laborers and we have a unique opportunity to reach the nations.
Please join me in praying for more laborers for the harvest. Have a blessed Christmas. His grace really is sufficient.
