UBA’s Annual Celebration is a time for fellowship, encouragement, and worship with other churches across greater Houston.

What to Expect:

Enjoy free dinner and fellowship with pastors, ministry leaders, and church members from across the city.


We’ll also have tables with local non-profits and ministry vendors helpful and relevant for your church and community.

Celebration Service

5:30 - 7:00 pm

After dinner, we’ll move to the worship center for bilingual musical worship, Scripture readings in some of the many languages represented in our association, and stories and testimonies of how God is at work in and through His people.


During a very short time of business, we’ll welcome new churches to the association and approve budgets for next year. If you’d like to vote, you will need to check in and receive a messenger packet upon arrival.

Our aim is that you would leave encouraged, refreshed, and emboldened for your ministry context.

  • Norhill has accessible on-site parking in the Heights. If the parking lot fills, street parking is also available.

  • The Annual Celebration is great for pastors, ministry leaders, and church members who would be encouraged to see God’s big picture work across the city.

  • For a church to qualify to send messengers, it must be a member of the association that has given a financial contribution in the past 12 months and had “meaningful communication” with the association over the past three years.

  • Messengers are elected/appointed by their churches and are allowed to be “seated” (meaning allowed to vote) when their church is qualified and cooperating.

    All messengers must check in at the registration desk as soon as they arrive to receive their messenger packet.  

    We will have a list of churches and the number of messengers they get. You don’t need to register messengers before the event.

  • Each qualified and cooperating church is allowed 5 messengers, counting the senior pastor. If UBA has received an Annual Church Profile in the last 12 months, more messengers are allowed.
