Collaborative Pathways
Bring churches, staff & members into deeper, more meaningful, Kingdom-expanding relationships that strengthen the whole Body of Christ.
The association is both an organization and a living organism: a network of living, reciprocal relationships.
As these relationships are strengthened, our work and gospel impact deepens.
Better Together
UBA Renewal Pathways consultations begin in relationships. UBA does not have authority over any church and cannot make decisions for any church.
UBA bases its consultations, in part, on the NAMB Associational Replanting Guide we helped create.
Ways to Collaborate
Resilient
The UBA desires to come alongside our pastors and leaders by providing them a pathway that will introduce them to the habits and choices they need in life and ministry to finish strong. These habits include: Clear Mission, Relational Security, Repeated Renewal, Lifelong Learning and Soveriegn Perspective. We call this journey the Resilient Pathway.
The Resilient Pathway includes pastor groups, leadership luncheons, coaching, and a yearly retreat for leaders.
Cohorts
Cohorts are small group equipping and soul care gatherings for ministry leaders. We currently have cohorts that serve pastors, church revitalization and replant leaders, African American leaders, and those interested in missions equipping.
Disaster Relief
When disaster strikes our city, the response is led by churches working together in their communities. UBA learned a lot of lessons during Harvey, and we believe we’re in an even better position now to coordinate capacities, steward resources, and help churches rebuild our city when the next storm hits.
With small shifts in our mindset, we can tap into the resources that we already have to identify, equip, send, and support the next generation of gospel ministers.
