This month is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we've been talking about it quite a bit. But what should you get them or do for them? Here are a few suggestions of how you can serve them this month and all year round.

Regardless of your church or staff size, take care of the people who feel God’s call on their life to lead and take care of you. From ministry interns to senior pastors, we need them at their best, because they often see us at our worst.

Let’s all get to know one another better over the next 64 days that we will be praying together for the churches in UBA.

October, or“Pastor Appreciation Month,” is a full month to tell your pastor how much you love them! To tell someone you appreciate them is to recognize their full worth, to grasp the full quality of their nature and full significance of the role they have played in your life in a particular situation, circumstance, or season. That’s pretty powerful!

But then, I started thinking about our Great Shepherd—The Ultimate Pastor. Do we take time to appreciate Him?

It often surprises me, as I consult with churches and church leadership, that many congregations have elected a Personnel Committee but there is no clear direction given to them. There's no definition of expectation. What is a Personnel Committee supposed to do?

What if you as a committee resolved to encourage, equip, and resource church leadership?
