Give Mission Centers of Houston a Boost at the upcoming Barbeque Boots & Boogie! Dust off your cowboy hat, lasso some friends and head over to the Mission Centers of Houston FUN-draiser called Barbeque, Boots & Boogie (BBB) on February 17.
“This fun evening will be a sell out, so grab your tickets and ‘get your Texas on,’” notes MCH Executive Director Jeff Chadwick. “This is our biggest fundraiser for ministry; I stand in awe at what God has done for 60 years and is doing now through the Mission Centers.”
Who doesn’t love slow-cooked, mouthwatering bbq and a good ‘ole fashioned root beer float? It is always great to have fun for a good cause, right?
Awesome Auction Items
The BBB will include a number of special contests and opportunities to win cool things like four field-level seats to an Astros game, camping equipment, hand painted items, jewelry and weekend getaways.
Consider sponsoring a table and gathering a group of friends to hear the Western Bling band and KSBJ superstar Reyna Reyna. Three generous folks have already signed up for key sponsorships, but there is plenty of room for more. Check out the array of special sponsor packages here.
Longtime attendee Brad Witty says, "I've hosted a table of friends enjoying good food, music, and fellowship at this awesome event for several years. All that, plus the bonus of contributing to a very worthwhile organization by attending, participating in the silent auction, and buying raffle tickets." The Wittys experienced an extra blessing by winning a free trip at last year's event!
